Glazed Salmon
This is really easy to prepare and makes a lovely dish for a midweek dinner. You can prepare a double batch of the glaze and keep in the fridge and use when you need. I love this salmon served with some stir fried veggie noodles. Check out my earlier recipes for the how to or find the link here!
For the Glaze
Juice of 1 lime
3tbsp honey
1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice
1/2 tsp of garlic granules
1tsp soy sauce
1tsp sesame oil
2tsp of rice wine vinegar or use white wine vinegar if you don’t have it
Splash of water
Add everything to a pot, stir well, bring to the boil and reduce until it has become a little syrupy
Set aside or store in the fridge until needed .
For the Salmon
Oven at 180C
Add 4 skin on salmon darns to an oven proof dish, spoon over half the glaze and sprinkle over some sesame seeds. Season and bake for 8 minutes. Baste with the rest of the glaze and bake for a further 5-8 minutes depending on the thickness, until done. Serve with noodles or veg of choice.
